25 Days of Baking on Instagram!

Have you been following our Instagram account? We're filling it full of our latest styled shoots, fun parties, new themes, and behind the scenes shots of what's coming next in the world of parties! If you've been sneaking a peek at our insta stories, you might have spied some fabulous treats in our 25 Days of Baking!

Michaella has been trying to keep her baking on the down-low, but we just can't hold it in any longer! We're sharing the first 10-day recap of her 25 Days of Baking right here on the blog for your viewing pleasure.

If you haven't been properly introduced, Michaella is the "Kayla" in Dani and Kayla Events, and wears so many hats we haven't named them all! One of her most delicious jobs here however, is baking all the treats for our parties, including cupcakes, cookies, and smash cakes for little celebratory fists!

So without further ado, here is a yummy recap of our first 10 days of baking!

Day 1: Cranberry White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

It might take you longer to say what's in these festive cookies than to simply devour them. A little of everything means everyone is happy, which also means they won't last long in your house this holiday season!

Day 2: Mini Gingerbread Houses

Um, have you ever seen anything so adorable? We can think of a thousand cute ways to surprise guests with these teeny sweet treats, the best being perched on the rim of a hot cocoa mug! There is no one who wouldn't love to be gifted a few of these as a hosting gift or neighborly holiday present. Or just hoard them for yourself! After all, it's the season to spoil yourself with sweets right?

Day 3: Shortbread Dipped in Chocolate

One of my absolute favorites, because there's just nothing quite as soothing as a cookie made with ALL THE BUTTER, and then dipped in chocolate. Michaella's shortbread is just divine, and totally reminds us why we keep her around.

Day 4: Red Velvet Whoopie Pies

Whoopie pies show up at all our favorite Christmas parties, and are always a crowd pleaser. Kids like saying "whoopie" (and secretly, so do the adults) and it's lighter than your standard chocolate or butter cookie after some holiday grazing. Michaella's Red Velvet twist is definitely a fabulous deviation from the norm, and we're loving the festive color against our Christmas decor.

Day 5: Peanut Butter Blossoms

My family always called these "kiss cookies" because of the wonderful fact that there's a kiss stuck in the middle of each delicious creation, but we like Michaella's name too, because it's still a darn delicious cookie! The only problem with these frosting-and-chocolate-topped peanut butter sugar cookies is that they disappear far too fast. Serve these at any party for an instant hit, but be sure to save a few for yourself!

Day 6: Coconut Macaroons

Sometimes the classic recipes are the best! Macaroons are so coconut-sweet and that drizzle of chocolate makes these even more irresistible. And for anyone who knows the joy of toasting coconut in the oven, your entire house will smell incredibly delicious for the rest of the day!

Day 7: Gingerbread with White Chocolate

Gingerbread is a holiday staple, and between decorating houses and tiny men you might be looking for something a little different. Cue Michaella's scrumptious gingerbread cookies dipped in white chocolate (and sprinkled with peppermint!). If there was a way to grow the Grinch's heart without a Christmas epiphany, this might be it.

Day 8: Christmas Crack(er) Toffee

Call it what you want, but this toffee is definitely one of those sweets that disappears faster than we can whip up another batch. Caramel, chocolate, a cracker bottom and a sprinkling of candied nuts make this the best thing to munch while you're getting in those last few Christmas movies before the big day.

Day 9: Mini Sugar Cookies

Mini anything is pretty much our new favorite thing. These teeny sugar cookies are the perfect snacking size, and look so fabulous on a platter! Michaella's mini sugar cookies are just the sweetest twist on a classic.

Day 10: Chocolate Peppermint Cookies

Chocolate and Peppermint just scream JOY! A decadent chocolate cookie dipped in, of course, white chocolate, and sprinkled with chopped candy cane. We vote to bring a batch of these on your Christmas Eve light-viewing adventures, along with some cocoa of course.

That's our first 10 days of amazing baked goods! Michaella has been stirring up the kitchen with these killer cookies and we're excited to see if we've inspired your holiday baking.

Keep up with our Instagram account for all the inspiration, and don't forget to peek at our stories for more fun like this!
