Starting with every girl's most beloved past time, the brilliant women at H.E.R. decided to host a brunch - then pack it full of inspirational speeches, adorn each head with a flower crown, support local female-run businesses, and hold the whole thing at the beautiful McConnell Estates Winery in Elk Grove. We call that possibly the best Sunday ever spent!
We popped up our tent in some very windy weather (and almost took out the booth next to us!) and sampled Michaella's killer mini cupcakes. It was a gorgeous morning to chat with so many excited attendees, sip raspberry champagne, and talk party-planning!
The speeches were excellent by Sarah Whitehead (Arbonne Wellness Coach), Tammy Nguyen Le (of Imagine Play), and Ashley Newell (A local blogger) - all on different challenges we face as women, and personal hurdles we struggle to overcome.
The entire day was uplifting, spending time talking with women in our community who want to create a space for support and success. We can't wait to see what the girls at H.E.R. come up with next!
